Katrina has been nominated for a National Achievement award and I write in support of her assistance to me recently.

I was not living in Alice Springs when I first made contact with Katrina and found her very accommodating when arranging an appointment to see me regarding financial advice in relation to obtaining a home loan. Her information was very helpful and positive and her manner relaxing.

As a consequence I have purchased a property. As there was some distance between us and probably extra information and negotiations that were needed with me being a novice in this field, Katrina always responded promptly to me, allayed my concerns, and ultimately dealt with all the documentations and requirements for me in what to me was a very professional manner. That being the case, huge stress for me was alleviated through her expertise and actions and I am very grateful for her assistance and reassurance.

Beyond that, Katrina was very obligingly provided transport for me on several occasions after the loan and property purchase was settled. This would have proven very difficult for me at the time, and I see this as beyond her core business and not what I had expected.

I support her in your consideration for this award as a most helpful and positive nominee whom I felt provided that unexpected ‘extra’ and wish her well with her nomination.

I wish to make comment on the service you have provided to mutual clients as their Loan Broker.

I have been most impressed with your service, communication and variety of Lenders, and I believe so have the mutual clients.

I must say in my position, I notice that most Brokers use the same lenders for all their clients, and in your case I have noticed clients use a variety of Lending institutions from Suncorp, BankWest to the major banks. It certainly gives me the impression that you care about your clients and service them as individuals, and not send all your deals to the same lender who may pay greater commissions.

You are to be congratulated for the manner in which you undertake your business, and I am always pleased to see your name in the contract as the finance person.

After attempting to find a bank or lending agency to consider refinancing my home loan I was about to give up. Only after speaking to Katrina Parrington of Elders Home Loans did I begin to believe I would be able to consolidate all my debt including my home loan by refinancing.
